How can I change my camera settings on my iPhone or iPad?

Using the Settings panel on your iPhone or iPad, you can control your camera's basic functionality. The following Settings are available with Dropcam's iOS app for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. A limited number of Settings are available using our mobile apps. For a full list of settings using our web viewer, please see this support forum.
Select the Settings icon
To access your Settings, open the Dropcam app and select your camera. Then click the Settings icon in the right corner of your video window. Here is what you have available on the main Settings page:
Camera on/off toggle: manually turn your camera on or off using this button.
Camera Settings (status light, night vision, rotate image, microphone), Camera Schedule, Wi-Fi
Alerts on/off toggle: choose whether or not to receive push notifications for motion, sound or offline

Camera Details: change the Title, Description, and Time Zone for your camera.
Click the the check mark to save your changes.
Status Light: this on/off toggle turns your camera's front status light LED on/off. This does not affect streaming video, only the light itself.
Night Vision: this setting controls the red ring of IR LEDs used for night vision. "Auto" mode will use the camera's software to determine the best mode to be in depending on the current lighting situation. The on/off toggle allows you to manually turn your camera's night vision on or off.
Rotate your video image 180° (flipped upside down). This setting is helpful if you mount your camera on a ceiling or need to adjust the perspective.
Camera Microphone: this controls the microphone on your camera. The "off" setting will mute your camera. If your microphone is "on", a sensitivity slider is available to adjust the microphone volume.
Click the the back arrow to save your changes.
Camera scheduling allows you to turn your camera on/off automatically using a time schedule or location that you set. You can also use an Alerts Schedule to turn your alerts on/off (Motion, Sound, and Offline) automatically using a time schedule or location that you set.
This setting allows you to change the Wi-Fi network your camera is connected to.
For Dropcam Pro, simply select your camera, locate the new Wi-Fi network and enter your network password. Your camera will connect to the new Wi-Fi network. For additional tips, please see our iOS setup support forum.
The Alerts Settings section allows you to manage the push notifications sent to your device for motion and sound activities or offline status.
Turn Alerts on/off using the button slider
Choose whether or not to receive push notifications for motion or sound activities, or when you camera is offline for more than 30 minutes.
Click the back arrow to save your changes.
An Alert Schedule allows you to turn your alerts on/off (Motion, Sound, and Offline) automatically using a time schedule or location that you set. You can also use a Camera Schedule to turn your camera on/off automatically using a time schedule or location that you set.
